We were very lucky to have Daniel come back into school and organise a super fun challenge for us to complete. We had some wonderful helpers as well such as Ben's mum, Charlottes mum and Adams dad.
The CHALLENGE was...
to make the tallest tower out out only newspaper and tape!
My job was to just sit back and observe. I was very impressed with the team work that everyone showed in their groups and all the DIFFERENT ideas each team had!
WINNERS to be announced......
Two questions were asked by the judges
- What went well?
- What you would improve on next time?
Once the planning was completed the construction began! Heaps of newspaper and great strategies and conversations between all groups!
After the Tragic Events that happened in Christchurch our school alongside many within our amazing community came to school dressed in bright colours to show our support!
Working with our buddy class to create beautiful flowers to show love and respect to the muslim Community
We were so very lucky to have an ice skating rink put into our school hall for all of week 8!
Our class had our session on Tuesday Morning. We had SO much fun and didn't want to stop. We learnt new skills and some of us had never been skating before and ended up having the best time!
Enjoy these photos.
A whole lot of effort and sweat went into our ice skating adventure! No tears!!!! But a wee few bruises appeared over the next couple of days! We had a blast and I laughed my way through the whole session :) Was amazing to see everyone give it their best and not give up.
Our amazing buddy class this year is ROOM 6 ad their lovely teacher MISS WILSON.
Every Friday we get together and do a wide range of different activities! We have gotten to know our buddies pretty well and enjoy spending time with them!
Check out the activity room 6 brought them then for us to do outside! We enjoyed drawing different faces with chalk for the whole school to see.
